Incorporation to Maximize Personal Achievement with Community Training

 

The Center for Human Resources

regularly holds Groups in the following areas:

 

~ Adolescent & Adult Anger & Rage Management Group

Designed to educate adolescents and/or adults on how to manage their anger and emotions.

This group meets once a week for six (6) weeks.

~ ADHD Parent Support Group

Offers support for parents to help them understand and cope with their child's attention deficit disorders 

This group meets once per week for six (6) weeks

~ Parenting Class

Helps parents to communicate more effectively with their children. 

Meets once a week for seven (7) weeks.

~ Initial Substance Abuse Treatment Group

Designed to provide both education and treatment for substance abuse isssues. 

Meets once a week for six (6) weeks.

~ Intensive Substance Abuse Group

Group for those who have had a long history of substance use and need more intensive treatment.

This group meets twice a week for nine (9) weeks.

~ Recovery and Support Substance Abuse Group

This group focuses on understanding addiction and its risks, relapse prevention, increasing self-esteem and stress management.

This group meets once per week for twelve (12) weeks.

~ Dual Diagnosis Substance Abuse and Mental Health Group

Specialized group for individuals with both substance abuse and mental health problems.

This group meets ongoing once per week.

~ Substance Abuse Aftercare Program

For those individuals that have gone through the Substance Abuse Program at the St. Clair County Jail.

This group meets once per week for (12) twelve weeks.
