Michigan Road Home
Michigan Rd. Home is situated on a large lot in Port Huron Township. It is a one story, handicap accessible, barrier free home backed by woods, which frequently give the residents and staff an up close and personal view of the native wildlife. Michigan Rd. Home has a relaxed homelike atmosphere for up to 6 individuals. In the backyard there is a patio with seating, swings, grill, and a secured above ground swimming pool with a wheelchair accessible ramp. These all help us to enjoy the warm summer months. Residents are monitored by intensively trained, caring staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The training is also designed to be individualized, based on the specific resident’s needs and includes CPR and First Aid certification.
Our residents enjoy a wide range of activities and community events including dining out, festivals, parks, and sporting events. Residents are encouraged and supported to seek and pursue personal goals and to live as independently as possible.
