Community Living Services are provided throughout St. Clair County for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental illness who are authorized for services through Community Mental Health.

 

Comprehensive Community Supports (CLS)

Services include assisting, guiding and training in meal preparation, laundry, household care, shopping and activities of daily living such as bathing or dressing. Also includes assistance with money management, non-medical care, socialization, transportation, participation in regular community activities, and preserving health and safety.

 

Supported Housing (Independent Living)

Comprehensive community supports (see above) that includes night time supervision, assistance locating housing , referrals for furniture and household items and other pre-move necessities. Services are provided to individuals living in an unlicensed independent living setting or their own home.

 

Respite Care Services

Services are designed to assist in maintaining a goal of living in the community.  Our staff assist with this by providing temporary relief for the primary caregiver.
