Assist the consumer with community integration, which may include outings, developing/maintaining outside friendships or Agency sponsored activities. To monitor and complete programs for each consumer as directed in their individual plan of service (IPOS). This may include dealing with challenging behaviors such as verbal aggression. The Assisted Living Technician works under the direction of the Program Supervisor. The Assisted Living Technician is responsible for completing all duties and activities assigned by Supervisory staff. Positive interaction with consumers and co-workers in all program areas is required. It is the responsibility of the Assisted Living Technician to meet the physical, safety, emotional, intellectual and social needs of each consumer and to provide the services specified in the consumer’s IPOS.
IMPACT is a private, not-for-profit organization, dedicated to providing quality, specialized, behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults (and their families) with a mental illness, developmental disability, or other complex behavioral disorder.
Individuals with health needs and behavioral health disorders who were once provided services in nursing homes, hospitals and group homes are now offered services in a less restrictive, community setting that is familiar and convenient.
A High School Diploma or equivalent is desired.
Must have own vehicle
Valid drivers license with a driving record acceptable for insurance purposes
Acceptable criminal records check,
Meeting the Agencies definition of acceptable moral character.
