The Crawford Road Home is a six (6) bed, two-story group home licensed by the State of Michigan. It is located in the quiet rural area of Columbus Township in St. Clair County. We are staffed 24 hours a day with caring and compassionate people. The staff at the Crawford Home are fully trained in the Direct Care Staff Curriculum and provide quality services while maintaining the health and safety of all the people we serve. With an emphasis on teamwork, our goal is to provide quality care in an environment that promotes dignity and respect, while encouraging individuality and freedom of expression.
The Crawford home is located across the road from a local farm which raises Horses, Alpacas, and chickens. Our residents enjoy watching the Belgian Draft Horses pulling sleighs down the dirt road. We also have several wild turkey, pheasant and deer sightings in the farm fields across the road. Our residents enjoy running, riding bikes, golfing and taking long leisurely walks in the summer.
The residents at the Crawford home enjoy many different community activities, including attending sporting events, concerts in the park, many local community events, going to the library, church services, swimming, bowling, mall walking, and eating at restaurants. Other favorite activities include local community recycling projects, and group involvement with volunteer projects for United Way and the Council on Aging.
